Holland House – Easter 2013
CSF Easter Holiday at Holland House
This year for our Easter holiday we went to Holland House near Evesham. It was nice to visit there again and enjoy the peaceful gardens and lovely food.
On the Friday evening after a very good meal we had some getting to know you games and then the epilogue. On Saturday morning some of us enjoyed a walk in the countryside led by Bryan. A couple of the group made some lovely patchwork with Brenda. After lunch we visited Tewkesbury Abbey which was very interesting. After this some of us sampled some cakes at the nearby tea shop. In the evening we played some fun games together then had the epilogue. On Sunday we celebrated Easter at Bryan’s church in a nearby village. In the afternoon we visited the village of Broadway. The day finished with a quiz from Howard and members of the group entertaining us and then the epilogue. We had a leisurely morning on the Monday then after lunch it was time to say goodbye. With thanks to Brenda, Bryan, Howard and all who helped to give us an enjoyable weekend. We now look forward to our week’s holiday at Windmill Farm near Oxford in July.
(Many thanks Sarah!! SF)
